Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 5, 2026 (added email codes, image reading and cloud writing)
Veryeo is built to keep your work private: your ads are made on your own device, so your prompts, videos and business details aren't sent to us. This policy explains the small amount of information that does leave your device, and why.
1. Information we receive
- When you buy a plan: Stripe, our payment processor, collects your name, email, billing details and card information. We receive your email, the plan you bought, and payment status. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe's use of your data is covered by the Stripe Privacy Policy.
- When you make or change an ad: the text of your request (see section 2) passes through our server to our AI provider, Cloudflare Workers AI, so it can write the ad's words (and, if you pick a ⚡ voice or make a Spanish ad, create the voiceover). We use it only to make your ad and don't store it.
- Your account: your email and a scrambled (hashed) version of your password are stored with our payment processor, Stripe. We never store your actual password. We use your email to find your plan and keep you logged in with a secure session stored in your browser, and we check your plan each time you open the app. We also record on your account whether your one free ad has been used, along with a simplified form of your email (for example, without dots or “+” tags in Gmail addresses) so each inbox gets only one free ad.
- Email codes: to confirm your email and to reset a forgotten password, we email you a 6-digit code. These emails are sent from our support Gmail account through Google's email service (Google Privacy Policy), so Google handles your email address to deliver them. Codes expire after 15 minutes and are stored only in scrambled form. We only email you about your account; no marketing without your permission.
- When you email us: we receive whatever you choose to send.
- Website visits: our hosting provider (Vercel) may log basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, to keep the site running and secure. We also use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits in an anonymous, aggregated way (no cookies, no cross-site tracking). We don't use advertising trackers.
2. What stays on your device
Voiceovers, finished videos and your images are made in your browser on your device. We don't receive them. Writing the ad's words: to make ads faster on every device, the text of your request (your prompt, business name, website address, goal, the ad's current lines and change requests, and short descriptions of your images) may be sent through our server to Cloudflare Workers AI, which runs the AI that writes the ad, and the written lines are sent back (Cloudflare Privacy Policy). We don't store this text. If that service is unavailable, the words are written on your device instead. If you choose a ⚡ voice (the fast cloud voices) or make an ad in Spanish (Spanish voices are cloud voices), the ad's spoken lines are also sent the same way to Cloudflare Workers AI to create the voiceover. We don't store them either. The other voices are made on your device, except on phones, where they're made on our own server (phones don't have enough memory for them): the ad's spoken lines are sent to our server to create the voiceover and aren't stored. Images you add (logos, photos, menus, price lists) are also looked at by an AI model running in your browser, which describes them and reads any text in them so your ad can use them. Your images and what's read from them are never uploaded to us. One exception: if you enter a website, its address is sent to our server so we can open that public website and take screenshots of it for your ad. The screenshots are sent back to your browser and are not stored by us. Your browser also stores some settings (like your free-ad count, recently used clips and the AI files) in its local storage.
3. Stock footage and AI files
To find video clips, the app sends short search words (for example, “coffee shop”) to Pixabay and, through our server, to Pexels and Unsplash (Unsplash Privacy Policy, Pexels Privacy Policy), and loads clips from Pixabay's servers (Pixabay Privacy Policy). The first time you use the app, your browser downloads the open-source AI files from their public hosts (such as Hugging Face and jsDelivr). Like any website, these services may receive your IP address when your browser contacts them.
4. How we use information
- To write your ad's words when you make or change an ad.
- To process payments and give you access to the plan you bought.
- To prevent plan sharing and abuse.
- To answer your questions and send important messages about your purchase.
- To comply with the law.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.
5. Cookies
Our website doesn't set advertising or tracking cookies. Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout pages to process payments and prevent fraud.
6. How long we keep it
We keep purchase records for as long as needed for your plan and for legal, tax and accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete information we hold that we aren't required to keep.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to object to how it's used. To make a request, email us. We'll respond within the time the law requires.
8. Children
Veryeo isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you're under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission to buy a plan.
9. Security
Payments are handled by Stripe, a PCI-compliant processor, and our plan check runs over encrypted connections (HTTPS). No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
10. Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
